The sea is
a treasure filled with natural resources, and a source
that can provide physiology-activating materials to human
life, indefinitely. Sea water contains highly-concentrated
Magnesium and Calcium, therefore it can be used to develop
products beneficial to the human body.
In particular,
Magnesium has no adverse reaction when it is absorbed
into the body via anointment, and just like that of the
Dead Sea, it has been found that sea water abundant with
Magnesium is highly effective in protecting skin as well
as on atopic dermatitis.
The objectives of this study
is first to develop sea mineral solution, optimally prepared
using sea water by reducing salt concentration while maintaining
a high concentration of Magnesium, and its related products
and further to determine their effectiveness in protecting
skin. Also, unlike synthetic minerals, minerals contained
within sea water are highly soluble and exhibit excellent
usability.
Thus, they could be used as raw materials for
various functional food and medicines, and further, they
could provide research results that can be utilized for
various industrial applications of sea minerals. |
